Let's Connect Through Yoga, Mindfulness,
and Imaginative Play!
and Imaginative Play!
“My preschooler would never sit still for Yoga. If my child didn’t behave and be quiet, I would be so stressed out.” This is what one Mom’s concern was. Can you relate? This is a common concern for many caregivers. There is an assumption that coming to a Yoga and Mindfulness class means their child must know how to sit still and be calm. These classes are not geared towards adults, they are based on meeting the needs of preschool age children.
Yoga and mindfulness are never about perfection. They’re about being curious and noticing what happens in the body and mind. Preschoolers love to start exploring things on their own and yet still want that connection with their caregiver. In little explorers, we have lots of independent time and also time to connect through stories, music, animal poses, nature, and so much more. Your child’s big moves and big emotions are welcome in this class. The goal is to begin to plant seeds for age-appropriate skills of self-regulation, beginning breath awareness, balance, attention, rest, connection, and joy that will last a lifetime.

“My children look forward to every Friday, knowing they will be spending time with someone who truly cares about them. Erin greets them with a friendly smile and and allows them the space to flourish while providing gentle encouragement and confidence boosting lessons. I have seen both my daughter and son grow in other ways as well. Their self awareness of the body and mind have increased, not just in class, but at home too. Erin has helped them to gain these tools early in life that will benefit them for years to come.”
Rhiannon, mom of two
“Thank you so much for teaching us about listening, engaging with yoga through music, fun, and more. You are a kind and caring soul with a bundle of energy and a sweet mix of calmness – you truly know how to include all students. Thank you.”

little explorers kind words
My daughter is very active and I was worried about how she would behave in this kind of setting. Erin has a gift for working with children and helping them to feel comfortable to be themselves, while still functioning within the group. I know how much yoga and Miss Erin mean to Quincey, because one day she told me "Mom you are so special I think you could be a yoga teacher". This is a great way to introduce yoga to children in a no stress way. Thank you Erin!”
My daughter had been to other kids' yoga classes before but was never that into it. We decided to give it one more try by taking Erin's class. I couldn't believe how much she LOVED it! With the songs, stories and "adventures" each week, she is continually enthralled. I, too, enjoy our special time to slow down, connect and have fun together. Erin has a wonderful way with the kiddos. She keeps them all engaged and happy across the different ages. We've enjoyed it so much that we have signed up for 3 sessions in a row. We love our Friday mornings!”
I miss my special yoga time with her on Fridays those memories are definitely something I will cherish forever. We miss you Ms. Erin.”
I think you do a sincere, loving, variety-filled lesson each time and because Mae is so little she could do them over and over gaining confidence each time. I really enjoy your class and this special time with my granddaughter. Grateful.”
